VAM Systems is currently looking for Business Intelligence Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Certifications:
· Professional certifications in Microsoft Power BI or equivalent BI platforms are preferred.
Required experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Technical Proficiency:
· Advanced expertise in data visualization and statistical plotting using tools such as Power
· BI, Python, and Matlab.
· Strong command of SQL for querying, data modeling, and ETL development.
· Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like SAS and Microsoft SQL Server.
· Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a strong advantage.
· Experience in Python and statistical programming, with exposure to AI/ML tools, algorithms, and methods.
Analytical & Modeling Skills:
· Proven ability to work with large-scale datasets and deliver production-grade analytics solutions.
· Skilled in data preparation, including rationalizing, classifying, deriving, and calculating model input variables.
· Experience applying natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques to unstructured data is a plus.

· Banking Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably banking, with a strong understanding of core banking functions such as Risk, Finance, Corporate/Retail Banking, Treasury, and the customer lifecycle.

The CRM Data Quality and Analytics Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of data within the CRM platform. This role combines expertise in data quality management and analytics to improve data-driven decision-making and optimize customer relationship strategies. By maintaining high-quality data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights, this role supports business teams in delivering personalized and effective customer experiences. Job Accountabilities
User data audit and management
- Conduct an audit on the CRM user data and identify anomalies, incomplete and outdated data.
- Work with regions to keep the user accounts updated with all relevant information.
- Work with Infra team to enforce best practices in user creation and management.
- Drive cost optimization through user data management.
Accounts: Data audit and assessment
- Identify duplicate, incomplete, and outdated data.
Data cleanup
- Clean up incomplete and outdated data.
Account: Establish data governance
- Define data quality standards and protocols.
Enforce data standards.
- Educate users through training of the global KPI´s (User Trainings to be done by Superusers)
- Enforce data standards through product features (validation/ integrations with product masters).
- Identify opportunities for automation to reduce the need for manual data entry.
Leads data management.
- Audit, clean up and management (same steps at above)

Identify and eliminate data leakages.
- Re-evaluate all integrations (Customer platform, quotes module, marketing) and identify all data leakages.

Qualifications
