The candidate will work closely with the data migration lead, functional teams, legacy data extraction teams, business data owners, technical developers, testing teams, and cutover teams to support mock loads, validation, defect resolution, production cutover, and hypercare stabilization. The role requires strong understanding of SAP data objects, load templates, staging, transformation logic, reconciliation, and load error resolution in a structured implementation environment.
Day to Day Job Duties

- Develop and maintain data load templates, staging structures, field mapping documents, transformation rules, and load procedures for SAP S/4HANA migration objects.
- Use SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, including Fiori-based migration apps and supported migration approaches such as file/staging table-based loading and direct transfer where applicable.
- Use Migration Object Modeler or equivalent supported tooling where applicable in the project landscape to adjust migration objects, mappings, rules, and load behavior, while recognizing that LTMC/LTMOM experience is legacy and should be applied only where supported.
- Support migration objects for master data and open transactional data, including business partners, customers, vendors, materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, inventory balances, GL balances, open AR/AP, assets, cost centers, profit centers, source lists, pricing, open purchase orders, open sales orders, quality masters, employees, organizational data, and global hierarchies.
- Build and test transformation logic, value mappings, data conversion rules, validation checks, and load pipelines based on approved data definition templates and business mapping decisions.
- Execute mock data loads across project cycles, including sample loads, SIT1 mock load, SIT2 mock load, UAT/mock 3 load, mock cutover/dress rehearsal, and final production cutover load.
- Analyze load errors, identify root causes, provide detailed error descriptions, recommend data corrections, and support re-load activities after business or source-data corrections are completed.
- Prepare reconciliation reports, load statistics, variance reports, exception logs, defect logs, and data validation support materials for business review and sign-off.
- Coordinate with functional teams and data owners to validate loaded data across finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, HR, planning, and cross-functional master data domains.
- Support cutover planning, freeze-window execution, production load scheduling, post-load validation, go/no-go readiness, and hypercare issue resolution.
- Prepare data migration technical documentation, load runbooks, KT materials, known issue logs, and handover documents for support/COE teams.

- Migration Cockpit: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit using Fiori-based migration apps and supported migration approaches such as file/staging table-based migration and direct transfer where applicable.
- Legacy Tool Awareness: Experience with LTMC and LTMOM is helpful for legacy S/4HANA landscapes, with the ability to adapt to current Migration Cockpit approaches and project-specific supported tooling.
- Migration Objects: Strong knowledge of SAP master data and open transactional data objects across finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, HR, and cross-functional domains.
- Mapping and Transformation: Experience with field mapping, value mapping, data transformation rules, derivations, mandatory field checks, dependency sequencing, and data readiness criteria.
- Load Execution: Experience executing mock loads, resolving load failures, reprocessing failed records, validating load logs, and supporting production cutover loads.
- Reconciliation: Experience preparing record count reconciliations, financial balance checks, open item reconciliation, inventory reconciliation, variance reporting, and load success metrics.
- Defect Management: Ability to document data load defects, coordinate with data owners and functional teams, and support error correction cycles through SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
- Documentation: Ability to prepare data load runbooks, migration object notes, technical mapping documents, validation reports, reconciliation packs, and KT material.

Solution Architect - Shared Data Migration

Job Description
At Kyndryl, we run and reimagine the mission-critical technology systems that drive advantage for the world's leading businesses. We are at the heart of progress; with proven expertise and a continuous flow of AI-powered insight, enabling smarter decisions, faster innovation, and a lasting competitive edge. For our people-Kyndryls-that means doing purposeful work that powers human progress. Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.
**The Role**
To execute a successful tenant consolidation, you must first define the target-state information architecture and governance considerations, including the sharing posture, permissions model, external sharing constraints, retention sensitivity, and content ownership patterns. From there, you need to define the tenant-to-tenant ODSP migration strategy, covering discovery, mapping, staging, delta moves, cutover approach, and post-move validation. To ensure consistency, you must standardise the tooling approach using ShareGate, Quest, or an equivalent solution, establishing configuration baselines, scheduling patterns, throttling management, reporting outputs, and error handling. You will also need to define operational runbooks for key migration tasks, such as site migrations, OneDrive migrations, Teams files migrations, permissions reconciliation, link and sharing remediation, and metadata validation. Managing the quality of the execution requires setting and enforcing strict quality gates-specifically "ready to migrate," "ready to cutover," and "accepted" criteria-supported by evidence packs and clear sampling methodologies. For non-standard scenarios, you must create an exception framework for difficult content, which includes handling very large libraries, broken inheritance sprawl, customisations, third-party integrations, legacy workflows, and blocked file types. Alongside this, you need to define a repeatable approach to permissions and sharing parity by clarifying what constitutes an "equivalent" state, what must be remediated, and what requires formal business sign-off. When technical issues arise, you will lead the escalation on complex failures, such as permissions anomalies, throttling, content mismatches, orphaned identities, broken sharing links, and Teams dependency problems. To drive efficiency, you must produce operational metrics for factory execution, tracking throughput, failure categories, rework rates, top blockers, and a continuous improvement backlog. Finally, you must align Shared Data cutovers directly to Identity, Devices, and Teams readiness so that the overall user experience is protected.
**Who You Are**
Your Future at Kyndryl
The career path ahead is full of exciting opportunities to grow and advance within the job family. With dedication and hard work, you can climb the ladder to higher bands, achieving coveted positions such as Principal Engineer or Vice President of Software. These roles not only offer the chance to inspire and innovate, but also bring with them a sense of pride and accomplishment for having reached the pinnacle of your career in the software industry.
You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused - someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.
**Required Technical and Professional Experience:**
+ Proven delivery of tenant-to-tenant SharePoint/OneDrive migrations at enterprise scale which must be evidenced.
+ Deep SharePoint Online/OneDrive expertise (permissions, sharing, IA, metadata, site templates, modern site constructs, governance controls).
+ Hands-on experience using ShareGate (preferred) or comparable enterprise migration tooling and ability to interpret logs and failure modes.
+ Strong understanding of Teams-connected content storage patterns and how Teams usage intersects with SharePoint/OneDrive.
+ Experience building factory-ready runbooks, validation gates and evidence packs to drive repeatable execution.
+ Strong troubleshooting mindset: can isolate issues quickly, define a fix pattern and push it into standard practice.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:**
+ Experience with highly regulated or complex governance environments (strict retention, compliance, sensitivity labelling interactions).
+ Familiarity with scripting and automation for checks/remediation (PowerShell/Graph).
+ Knowledge of common ODSP migration pitfalls: link behaviour, sharing model differences, permissions sprawl, performance constraints, change windows.
**Being You**
The "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities. We focus on ensuring all Kyndryls feel included and we welcome people of all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
