About the role:

What you'll bring:
- 5 to 10+ years of experience with common web technologies required – C#, .NET, Java or other equivalent Object-Oriented language
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in the implementation of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure) and an understanding of SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS models
- Experience building high performance, scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and/or applications
- Experience creating scripts or automation, such as Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby or similar for cloud orchestration required (PowerShell preferred)
- Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.

About the Team
Our team is the engine of the entire engineering organization, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers all of our services. What You Will DoAs a Platform/DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in building, scaling, and managing the core infrastructure and services that our entire application suite depends on. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, primarily with Python Pulumi.
Managing and scaling our Kubernetes environment, including deployment strategies via Helm charts.
Maintaining and optimizing our data streaming and messaging infrastructure, including Kafka and NATS Jetstream.
Implementing and managing the Istio service mesh to ensure secure, resilient, and observable service-to-service communication.
Owning the entire observability stack using tools like Loki, Tempo, and Mimir to provide deep insights into system performance and health.
Managing network connectivity, including Site-to-Site VPNs and Direct Connect circuits.
Contributing directly to our multi-cloud vision by building infrastructure that is cloud-agnostic and truly portable.
2-6 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role.
Deep expertise in managing and operating Kubernetes in a production environment.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform).
Strong programming skills in Python for automation and IaC development.
Hands-on experience with a major Cloud Platform.
Solid experience implementing and managing an Observability Stack (monitoring, logging, tracing) in a cloud-native environment.
