**About This Opportunity :**
An Art Director on the social team should have a deep understanding of the social media space. They should be able to partner with a copywriter to conceptualize and execute creatives that are optimized for the social medium - Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok & Facebook primarily.
**Roles and Responsibilities :**
+ Possess an understanding of design for short format videos - layout, typography, colour and animation.
+ Create contemporary digital led layouts with strong typography and animation/motion cues.
+ Participate in brainstorm sessions and work with the team towards creative solutions
+ Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language
+ Must be familiar with American culture and vernacular
+ Remain current with the latest style, graphic, industry and technology trends and apply this to projects
+ Look-up and research for a stronger understanding of different media.
**Requirements :**
+ Minimum 5 years at an Advertising agency, Social Agency or Design house (with digital)
+ Experience with working on Mac OSX / iOS / Apple operating system
+ Proficient at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools. Experience with Aftereffects and/or Premier Pro is a bonus.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
