Key Accountabilities

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of security activities to ensure swift business value realization. This role focuses on information security and digital security risk activities with the following key accountabilities:

Education

• Degree Educated, preferably BSc in Information Security or equivelent.

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or working towards certification.

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, NIST, and CIS framework is highly advantageous.

Desirable Experience and Capability

• Previous track record in similar roles in Finance, HR, Trading, Retail, Supply or Oil and Gas companies.

• Strong influencing skills that enable you to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, clearly and concisely.

• A minimum of 3 years of Cyber Security experience on one of the following areas: Cloud (AWS and Azure), Infrastructure (IAM, Network, endpoint, etc.), or Data (DLP, data lifecycle management, etc.).
• Deep and hands-on experience designing security architectures and solutions for reliable and scalable data infrastructure, cloud and data products in complex environments.
• Development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala, Java, C#) and/or development experience in one or more cloud environments (including AWS, Azure, Alibaba, etc.).
• Exposure/experience with full stack development.
• Experience with automation and scripting for security tasks (e.g., IaC, CI/CD integration) and security tooling (e.g., vulnerability scanners, CNAPP, Endpoint and/or DLP).
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in technologies across all data lifecycle stages.

Your New Role **:**
The Senior Network Security Engineer role will be responsible for the support and strategic improvement of the global network security platform. The individual will be evaluating processes regularly to ensure expected outcomes are achieved in the most efficient way along with identifying service improvements and document those improvements to h elp ensure standards and processes are followed.
