Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Python Automation Test Engineer with a strong focus on network security tools and technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge network security solutions. You will work closely with development and security teams to identify, analyze, and report defects, contributing to the delivery of secure and robust products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test frameworks using Python for network security tools and applications.
• Develop comprehensive automated test scripts covering functional, integration, performance, and security aspects of our products.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate closely with development and security engineering teams to understand requirements, design test plans, and provide feedback on product quality and potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain test data and test environments required for automation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing trends, tools, and methodologies, particularly those relevant to network security.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and test environments.
• Generate test reports and metrics to communicate test progress and quality status to stakeholders.
• Explore and evaluate new network security tools and integrate them into the automation framework as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5-15 years) in automation testing with a strong focus on Python.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design principles, and test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium).
• Hands-on experience in automating testing for network security tools and technologies, including but not limited to:

Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA/Firepower)

Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)

VPNs (e.g., IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL VPN)

Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)

Vulnerability Scanners (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS)

Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems

Network Monitoring tools

• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.) and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our QA team in Bangalore . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust UI test automation scripts using Cypress , as well as contributing to the quality assurance of our web applications through functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automated UI test scripts using Cypress.io .
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports .

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
