We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about creating an excellent user experience and enjoys taking on new challenges. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing test plans, unit testing, and other related bug identification tasks to support our test prep applications.
Your Role:
- Write test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to adequately test products throughout the software development life cycle that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
- Test, validate, and document issues with data integrity, presentation, and visualization
- Collaborate with both development and product teams to build test plans and defect verification.
- Work with other QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of all apps by process of continuous improvement
- Facilitate ongoing process improvement to ensure test strategies, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, and standardized
- Research emerging tools and methodologies to reduce manual testing effort. Isolating areas for advanced test management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Software Engineering or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in testing web applications.
- Atleast 1 year of experience with Automation tools like Selenium/Katalon is preferred.
- Experience in working with Agile/Scrum team on web testing.
- Experience in writing test plans, test results reports, and status summaries
