**What we're looking for:**

+ Proficiency in SQL (any variant) and big data technologies, with experience in operating commonly used databases such as PostgreSQL, HBase, or Trino.
+ Knowledge of gRPC (unary, response streaming, bi-directional streaming, REST mapping).
+ Familiarity with Linux operating systems, including command-line tools and utilities.

**The Team:** This team is called Strategy and Operations, part of the CI Content Design group, which sits within Business Operations. It is a small, but dedicated group, based in several countries around the world supporting the pricing, editorial and publishing teams which produce thousands of PDFs, infographics, maps and translations across nearly 100 different publications.
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical operations, processes, products and systems for S&P Global Commodity Insights to successfully deliver on its product roadmaps and strategic initiatives for its market reporting, content and publishing functions. You will directly contribute to product enhancements that delight our customers by working in Adobe InDesign and updating or creating publication templates. You will work closely with colleagues in Operations, Technology, Product and Content to enable our teams to execute on the numerous and varied product changes.
An eye for detail is absolutely critical, with problem solving, project management, communication and time management skills also being vital. Experience with Adobe InDesign is essential.
**Responsibilities and Impact:** S&P Global Commodity Insights publishes over 20,000 price assessments and benchmarks every day. Publishing accurate and timely information is crucial to our customers who rely on this data to make important decisions every day. You will help make sure our data and insights publish as intended with the latest data available and reach their target delivery channels.
This position's main responsibility will be to coordinate and execute product changes with a focus on accommodating various deliverables, such as PDFs, digital pages and online content. You have the opportunity to become the subject matter expert of our operational systems and processes, as well as build and lead new repeatable workflows.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Support the execution of product enhancements by collaborating with cross-functional teams, building and reviewing mockups, acquiring approvals, participating in UAT, and moving projects through the pipeline to completion to meet launch deadlines.
+ Design and develop changes to our products through Adobe InDesign and internal systems in development.
+ Attend regular meetings with cross-functional teams to prioritize backlog, discuss progress and take the appropriate actions to drive delivery.
+ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other operational teams and internal stakeholders to maximize productivity throughout the product-change process.
+ Provide key support to the team, where needed, for the ongoing maintenance of our products, prices, and systems.

Our data is used to support deal sourcing, fundraising, data exploration and valuation analysis by institutional investors, money managers and investment banking professionals. We provide expertise in datasets, assist with client requests, and help Product and Commercial teams with their engagements with current and prospective clients. A Key responsibility of our team is to support the development of new solutions for our dataset across various data delivery channels (feeds, platforms, APIs etc.), covering both self-sourced data and the data purchased from third party vendors.

**Job Description:**
Entry level individual contributor position where the incumbents key responsibilities may include operational, service, administrative, technical support, basic level reporting, call center support and reviewing/processing transactions in Operations or Support. Possesses communication, problem solving and general PC skills. Has the responsibility to ensure quality service and effective support for the assigned functions, internal and/or external business partners and customers by following established procedures. Receives general guidance and direction. Incumbents would be Graduates / Post Graduates with 0-18 months of work experience.
