**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct applied economic analysis, including cost-benefit assessment, policy evaluation, and basic modelling.
- Manage and interrogate large datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility of results.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate raw data into actionable insights that support business cases, socio-economic assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (planning, transport, environment, real estate) to integrate economic evidence into broader project deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of in-house tools, modelling frameworks, and data visualisation standards.
- Support business development through analytical inputs to proposals, presentations, and client discussions.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Strong background in applied economics, quantitative analysis, or policy evaluation.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, R, Python, or Stata) and data visualisation platforms.
- Experience in building and maintaining dashboards, automating data pipelines, and presenting analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle and analyse large, complex datasets (e.g. socio-economic, demographic, spatial, or market data).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to distil complex findings into clear narratives.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with GIS and spatial analysis (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with international datasets and standards (UN, World Bank, national statistics agencies).
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical, evidence-based solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time and budget constraints.
