Job Description
ZBM will be responsible for Zone FX Revenue target responsibility and ensure his –Forex cluster & individual FX- officer business delivery as per the target commitment. In addition, he needs to handhold a Cluster under his direct supervision.
Forex Business (Travel care/Remittance & Bank Notes) & revenue responsibility of Branch -Retail & Eco partner channel business. Bulk purchase/Bulk sales & small corporate Sales for the Cluster.
Onboarding direct sales segments like educational consultants, Tour Operators, Hotels, Travel & Money transfer agents, FFMC/AD-II and Banker’s business relationships to do business on Travel Card/ Bank Notes, Outward remittances AD-I & II with special attention to Travel Card business.
Hand hold non-license branches and educate the branch team to learn on forex outward remittance and ensure to deliver of the committed. And Coordinate with the BDE team and ensure they deliver considerable business by educating incentive benefits.
Follow up & relationship building for Bankers to get Empanelment from bank FED
Roll out region-level business drive campaign with R &R, ensure performance review and Hire the right resources to build the team, by sharing regular business MIS on Forex to branches & sales teams.
Build and set up a Wholesale desk (WS-Desk) and supervise the desk revenue and its functions to enable the branch business.
And engage and build relationships with Key clients by the incentive/ commission pay-out timely to retain the agents & partner relationships to MFL for the long term.
Coordination with RM/AM and Zona/HO team to enhance the retail forex & outward remittance business across the branch counters (license & non-License branches.)
Ensure to oversee regulatory compliance and product hygiene at all levels.
Branch visits and impart training on Fx business, where required – In house or in Groups
Responsibility for forex business & Revenue at the Region level, and Partner onboarding and improving direct sales through agent transactions. Ensure the team delivers the commitment and their incentive earnings, Training, Product visibility, regulatory compliance and team management and leadership coordination in addition to direct branch FX Revenue target.
Key account management, WS Desk revenue and building the Exclusive Forex business team to place new business modules across the State/Zone

Job Description
Varthana is looking for Branch Managers who will be driving all business development activities and will be responsible for revenue generation, cost management, delinquency control, and running the branch as a profit center. The candidate will be recruiting and driving a motivated sales team so as to effectively service the catchment area and ensure that loans are processed within the defined turnaround time. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for servicing all the customer requirements and building a long-lasting relationship with them.
Key Role Deliverables
- Team Leadership and Team Development: Building a high-performing motivated team by working closely with the team members, coaching & mentoring, and leading them as an example.
- Sales Management: Achieving disbursement targets in numbers, volumes & productivity.
- Marketing Management: Planning and executing marketing campaigns for beyond loan products and generating revenue from them. Working towards building a brand image of the company.
- Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with customers with the help of loan products and beyond loan initiatives.
- Profitability Management: Maintaining & optimizing profitability for the branch through managing costs and building a superior quality portfolio.
- Delinquency Management: Ensuring zero delinquencies for the branch by timely and effective collections.
The job would require visiting spoke locations for business development; so, regular road travel will be very much a part of the routine.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Qualification: Post Graduation from a reputed institution
- 5-7 years of experience in Retail / SME Sales / Financial Services / Education / MFI / Mortgages / SME loans / Insurance Industry
- Team player and ability to appreciate other people’s perspectives
- Influential communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to travel within the city and holding a valid driving license
