The Role
This is a founding-team Backend Engineer role based in Jabalpur. You will own everything our platform touches on the outside: customer integrations, third-party SaaS connectors (CRM, enrichment, data sources), backend services, data pipelines, and deployment. Your work directly frees our CTO to focus on the core verification engine, so you will have real ownership from day one and your decisions will shape the product.
This is not a maintenance seat. You build, you ship, and you own your systems end to end.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power the platform
- Build and own integrations with third-party SaaS tools (Zoho CRM, enrichment and data providers, internal scanning tools)
- Own data pipelines: ingestion, cleaning, normalization, and flow into our systems
- Handle deployment, monitoring, and the reliability of what you ship
- Work directly with the founders to turn product and legal requirements into working software
What we are looking for
- 2 to 6 years building production backends, or an exceptional recent graduate with shipped projects
- Have built and shipped at least one production integration with a third-party SaaS API (this is a must-have)
- Strong in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js, Go, or similar)
- Comfortable with databases (SQL/NoSQL), REST APIs, and owning systems without hand-holding
- Pragmatic and low-ego. You care about shipping working software, not perfect software
- Interest in formal methods, legal-tech, or AI is a strong plus, not a requirement

This role is critical in driving financial reporting, supporting the CFO with data for CXO / Board reporting, strategic decision-making, and ensuring strong financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day financial accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making
• Monitor and optimize revenue streams, pricing strategies, and profitability metrics, sales pipeline tracking

• Assist CFO with preparation of financial reports to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
