- To report product cost of all new products manufactured during the month
- To review product costs of existing products and compare with previous costs.
- To highlight any change happening in the above in a given month; If overall cost increases, identify and report cost component that has contributed to cost increase
- To present SKU wise product cost report to management periodically to cover all brands once in a quarter
- To prepare product cost report detailing all components of a product at RM/PM level
- To maintain Master cost data for all SKUs based on which yearly Budget will be prepared.

Cost re-engineering:
