**Job Role**: We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our prestigious **Diesel Genset Sales & Services Company “SME GENERATORS”, in Pune**. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the **installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of diesel generators at client sites at local Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area including both within and outside of Maharashtra. **Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient performance of diesel generators, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality services to clients across PAN India.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Perform Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance, Servicing, and Repair of Diesel Generators (Commercial/Industrial) in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.**:
- **Diagnose Mechanical, Electrical, And Technical issues**in Diesel Generators and determine appropriate solutions.
- **Carry out Regular Maintenance Checks, Tune-Ups, and Inspections**to ensure optimal generator performance.
- **Perform AMC visits** to ensure ongoing maintenance and client satisfaction.
- **Troubleshoot and resolve any emergency breakdowns or malfunctions**in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Collaborate with the technical team **to identify and implement improvements in generator functionality and efficiency.
- **Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service details for client and company documentation.**:
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times.
- **Provide exceptional customer service **by addressing client queries, explaining repair procedures, and offering recommendations for preventive maintenance.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in diesel generator technology and industry best practices.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- **ITI Diesel Mechanic or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.**:
- **Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and repairing diesel generators.**:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting generator issues using relevant tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a deep understanding of diesel engines and electrical systems.
- Proven track record of **delivering quality workmanship and adhering to safety protocols.**:
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.
- **A valid two-wheeler license and ownership of a two-wheeler for commuting to client sites.**:
- Willingness to travel within Pune PCMC and within Maharashtra based on project requirements.

**About the Role**:
The Embedded software organization is responsible for the accelerated development of embedded software components and vehicle controllers and delivers the Deep Connectivity Platform at industry scale.
- Manual tester role responsible for executing test procedures against customer vehicle platforms and other test systems for Sibros Firmware releases.
- Perform requirement analysis, test case design, test execution and test result reporting.
- Monitoring and storing the relevant logs for the tests performed and maintaining traceability to the executed test cases.
- Manage the end-to-end traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Responsible for bug identification and troubleshooting based on instructions mentioned in manuals.
- Responsible for performing sanity, regression and full volume tests of the release build.
- Occasional travel directly to OEM customer facilities and service centers to perform tests, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- 2 - 10 years of experience in firmware or software testing roles.
- Possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in English. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Hands-on experience with testing in the automotive industry.
- Exposure to test automation and framework development activities
- Coding experience in Python or other programming languages.
