Deploy and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using PaaS and IaaS services.
Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using any automated way of deployments(ARM, Bicep or terraform, PowerShell etc).
Apply cloud security controls including but not limited to
Security of data in rest and motion - encryption
Identity and access - RBAC, Key Vault
Compliance and regulatory - policy enforcement, SOC2.
Networking - WAF, Azure firewall, NSGs, application groups, Azure front door, Application gateways
Defender for cloud or similar tools and sentinel(SIEM tools)
Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components, such as:
Virtual Networks (VNETs), NSGs, VPNs, DNS, and Private Endpoints
Load balancers including Azure Front Door and Application Gateway
Support and maintain both Windows and Linux systems in Azure-hosted environments.
Collaborate with other engineers and teams to implement infrastructure based on solution designs and business requirements.
Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure PaaS and IaaS services.
Proven expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar.
Security Expertise:
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including:
Encryption for data at rest and in transit.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) using RBAC, Azure AD, and Key Vault.
Compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and Azure Policy enforcement.
Network security using NSGs, WAF, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, and Private Endpoints.
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, or other SIEM tools.
Networking Skills:
Deep knowledge of Azure networking components, including VNETs, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancers, and Private Link.
Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues in cloud environments.
Systems Administration:
Experience supporting and maintaining Windows and Linux systems in Azure-hosted environments.
Familiarity with system hardening and patch management practices.
DevOps & Automation:
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Familiarity with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Collaboration & Communication:
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including developers, network engineers, and security analysts.
Ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
