Role Description

You will be part of our Product Development Team

We are seeking an innovative Industrial Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing aesthetically pleasing, functional, and ergonomic product designs.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and bring products from ideation to production.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design research to understand user needs, market trends, and competitor products.

• ranslate ideas into sketches, concept renderings (2D & 3D), and design narratives.

• I entify suitable materials and evaluate their feasibility for mass production.

• D velop detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and design specifications.

• C eate product animations and visualizations to communicate design intent.

• D velop surface design concepts ensuring aesthetics, manufacturability, and ergonomic appeal.

• W rk alongside the engineering team to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and technically sound.

• S ay updated with industry trends, materials, prototyping, and manufacturing techniques to drive innovation.

• P rticipate in prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement of designs based on team and user feedback.

Qualifications

• S rong ability to translate concepts into tangible design solutions.

• P oficiency in 3D CAD and rendering tools (e.g., Autodesk Alias, SolidWorks, KeyShot, or similar).

• K owledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and rapid prototyping techniques.

• C eativity and problem-solving mindset with attention to both aesthetics and functionality.

• S rong attention to detail to maintain design quality throughout development stages.

• E cellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and drive the design vision for multiple product categories. responsible for bringing together  form, function, and user experience  into cohesive and manufacturable designs. 

• Lead  new product design  as well as  CMF (Color, Material, Finish)  exploration to deliver exceptional physical experiences that align with the brand’s identity.

• Engage deeply in  user and market research , uncovering insights that shape design strategy and direction.

• Manage  multiple parallel projects , collaborate with  cross-functional teams  (Product, Engineering, Marketing), and oversee  external design partners  to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

Requirements 

• Design thinker with over 6 years of experience in  small-sized consumer product designs

• Degree from  NID Ahmedabad or an equivalent tier-1  design school 

• Strong  aesthetic sensibility , technical understanding of materials and processes, and a collaborative mindset

• You enjoy balancing  creative exploration with real-world feasibility , and your portfolio reflects both functional design and visual excellence.

• Your work will span early ideation to final mass production, requiring a strong grasp of manufacturing constraints, material sciences, and emerging trends.
