Role Description

This is an internship, on-site role in New Delhi for a User Interface Designer. The User Interface Designer will be responsible for creating visual designs, mockups, and user interface designs. The User Interface Designer will also be responsible for working closely with the development team to ensure the best user experience (UX).

Qualifications

• User Interface Design and Visual Design skills
• 1-3 project portfolio with demonstrated experience in the area of design, research, and innovation.
• Experience in creating mockups and front-end development
• Strong understanding of User Experience (UX)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Currently enrolled in bachelor's/master's degree in design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch etc

We are looking for a motivated UI/UX Design Intern eager to build solid UX & UI skills and gain hands-on experience with design systems. Under the guidance of senior designers, you will help craft consistent, intuitive interfaces for our learning products while learning industry-standard tools and methods.

• Assist with design system maintenance: Help update Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
• Support UI production: Create layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
• Participate in user testing: Observe usability sessions and assist in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Attend stand-ups and design critiques with product, engineering, and content teams.
• Uphold accessibility standards: Learn WCAG principles and apply them to interface tweaks and redlines.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
