What Your Role Entails
Responsible for creating innovative and effective packaging designs for HVAC products.
Develop packaging solutions that protect products during shipping, storage, and display, while also enhancing the company's brand image
What You’ll Do:
- Design and Development: Create and design packaging solutions for HVAC equipment and components. Utilize industry-specific knowledge to ensure packaging is suitable for HVAC products, considering factors like size, weight, and fragility. Develop 2D and 3D packaging prototypes for evaluation.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and materials relevant to packaging design and sustainability. Conduct research to identify cost-effective and eco-friendly materials for packaging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging designs are compatible with product specifications. Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to align packaging designs with the company's visual identity
- Testing and Quality Control: Conduct tests and simulations to ensure packaging adequately protects products during shipping and storage. Establish quality control standards for packaging materials and processes.
- Sustainability and Compliance: Promote sustainable packaging practices by minimizing waste and choosing environmentally friendly materials. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to packaging safety and labeling.
- Cost Management: Analyze packaging costs and look for opportunities to optimize packaging designs while maintaining quality. Budget and cost-control responsibilities for packaging-related expenses.
- Documentation: Maintain records of packaging design specifications, testing results, and material information. Create and update packaging design guidelines and standards.
Your success is grounded in
- B.E/B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech Mechanical with minimum 7 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating packaging prototypes.
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating packaging prototypes.
- Knowledge of materials, printing methods, and manufacturing processes related to packaging.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles in packaging design is a plus.
