What an Quality Control In Publishing Industry

Proofreading is the last step in the writing process. It is part of the revisions that occur before publication. A proofreader will read through the data multiple times, compare them with the original version of the text to identify and correct any errors related to spelling, grammar, punctuation, conventions, or formatting.

Job Description:

• To compare the input content with output content and spot the errors (such as text, font style, font size, symbols, grammar, etc.,) in the output and highlight the errors found in an article to the concerned functions.
• Proofread the articles word-to-word or character-by-character with 100% accuracy.
• Styles check the articles according to the SOP, Checking the every edits and corrections given by the author.

Candidate Profile:

• Should be good in English (both verbal & written). Must passed out in the academic year of 2023 to 2025.
• Educational Qualification : Bcom, BBA, BA, Bsc and Diploma.
• Should have basic computer knowledge and should be good in English reading.
• Good eye for detail and should be able to identify mistakes in content.

Shift Timings : Rotational Shifts

First Shift 6:15 AM to 1:45 PM

Second Shift 1:45 PM to 9:15 PM

Third Shift 9:15 PM to 6:15 AM (No Night Shift for female)

Qualification: Master's / Bachelor's in Microbiology / Medical Microbiology / Environmental Science

Experience: 2-4 years

Preference: Good communication / hands on testing skills in Medical device / pharma

Responsibilities: Performance of Bio-burden, BET, pathogen identification and Sterility Testing on daily activities related to media preparation, Sterilization and decontamination.

Receipt, storage and stock maintenance of media.

Maintenance, preservation and propagation of cultures.

Lab monitoring (Temperature, %RH, Differential pressure)

Maintain all relevant records, logbooks for compliance of SOPs and Protocols.

Role Overview

The IQC person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming hardware materials and components used in the production of disinfectant robots. This role involves inspection, testing, and verification of parts to ensure they meet company specifications, supplier agreements, and industry standards. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers, procurement, R&D, and production teams to maintain high product reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections of electrical, and electronic hardware materials (e.g, PCBs).
• Verify compliance of materials against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use appropriate measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) for inspection.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and coordinate with suppliers for corrective actions.
• Maintain IQC records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
• Provide feedback to Procurement on supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, RoHS, FCC, CE, and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in IQC or quality assurance in hardware/electronics manufacturing (robotics or medical devices preferred).
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with precision measurement instruments and electrical testing tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent quality management systems.
• Good understanding of supplier quality management and corrective action processes.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
