The global Documentation Department houses and maintains literature including approx. 8000 active installation instructions, test reports, technical drawings, data sheets, kit content lists, etc. We are currently seeking a team member who will be in charge of producing foreign language documents in our content management system Schema ST4, an XML-based authoring system. The new team member will also support in migrating existing documents to Schema ST4 and producing instructions in Adobe InDesign. - Ensure delivery of quality documentation by following review and delivery processes and procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and archiving of documentation by following version control policies and procedures.
- Deliver documentation on schedule with a high degree of quality.
- Experience creating technical content aimed at administrators and end users of Web-based applications.
- Timely review and update style guide.
- Extensive experience with documentation tools: Adobe FrameMaker and Robohelp, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
- In-depth knowledge of DITA framework, single-sourcing content.
- Excellent technical writing skills and ability to peer review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing.
- Experience using version management system (GitLab) is preferable.
