Job Description
The Position: UX Design Intern
UX Design Interns at Sparklin are detail detectives, interface explorers, flow-obsessed thinkers, and pixel optimists. You’ll join a team reimagining how products look, feel, and function across websites, apps, dashboards, and experiences that matter.
This isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making them feel right . You’ll dive into wireframes, prototypes, feedback loops, and user journeys to help design experiences people actually want to use (and love coming back to).
The Contribution
UX Design Interns are expected (post-learning phase) to:
- Collaborate on user flows, wireframes, and journey mapping
- Turn briefs into intuitive, usable, and delightful product experiences
- Work closely with strategists, developers, and visual designers
- Explore and share multiple UX approaches to solve design challenges
- Contribute to usability testing and translate learnings into improvements
- Help document user personas, edge cases, and experience gaps
- Stay curious about design tools, UX trends, and evolving platform patterns
- Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, one decision at a time
You Are
- A curious observer of apps, websites, and how people actually use them
- Someone who asks why before jumping to how
- Interested in product thinking, behavior patterns, and user empathy
- Exploring tools like Figma, FigJam, or anything that helps ideas come alive
- Open to learning how to communicate design decisions with clarity and confidence
- Comfortable iterating through feedback, not afraid of thoughtful critique
- Always wondering how to make things simpler, kinder, smarter, and smoother
- A systems thinker—with a soft spot for microinteractions
Also Worth Knowing
- This is a safe space for learning, experimenting, and asking questions out loud.
- Whether you’re a design school grad, a self-taught Figma explorer, or just someone who loves UX, this internship is about growth , not labels.
- We believe good design comes from good people, thoughtful, kind, and curious.

Job Description
UX Lead
Virtusa is building a world-class UX team to research, design and build innovative mobile and web-based apps for its corporate clients, and we are excited to be expanding our practice.
Summary
You love designing apps that people love to use. In this role, you’ll take primary responsibility for leading a UX design team to create innovative, usable, and buildable phone, tablet, and laptop/desktop applications. You have a combination of hands-on design skills and the ability to guide a team to great results. You pride yourself on having some front-end technical know-how, which helps you understand the development implications of your design decisions and enables you to create prototypes to explore and illustrate ideas. Clients look to you for insight and leadership.
Responsibilities
· Solve design challenges. You have 12 - 15 years of deep experience in interaction design, information architecture, and/or visual design. While it's rare to find someone deeply skilled in all design disciplines, you are deep in at least two and have some skills in the third. You are also able to structure and draw insights from user research, create artifacts that illustrate how an app will look and work, and evaluate designs through usability testing. For example, you'll create annotated wireframes, visual design comps, user flows, and/or paper and interactive prototypes as necessary in order to explore ideas and document design decisions.
· Lead the design effort. You are able to direct, critique, and coach the UX team; participate in user research and analysis; and have experience structuring usability tests and interpreting results. You help teams deliver on time and on budget by managing scope and balancing business needs, user needs, and technical elegance/complexity.
· Work with clients. Clients look to you as a leader and expert. You are comfortable facilitating client discussions and defending design decisions to clients and the development team. With deep experience and strong consulting skills, you can handle challenging client relationships.
· Help sell. You assist with business development when needed: helping understand a client's needs; sharing points of view and potential solutions; presenting to senior client stakeholders; and assisting with proposals and statements of work.
