Position Purpose
Within the GM CCCO department, the GM Operational Permanent Control & TAC/NAC Coordination team (GM OPC) serves as subject matter expert on the Front Office (FO) supervision structure, operational risks assessment, controls and governance.
We are looking for a HEAD of OPC/ RPC team. The candidate will have to split the work between 80% to produce the BAU of the team as any other of his teammates and 20% to manage the OPC/ RPC team.

1. PROTECTION & RISK REMEDIATION:
o Strengthen FO to End control set up through the declaration, investigation, analysis of operational risk incidents
o Contribute to determine risk reduction actions & coordinate ad-hoc global remediation plans
o Drive the Mtier in the answer, follow up and closure of any internal or external recommendation
o Materialize, maintain & improve the FO control plan
2. PREVENTION:
o Risk Assessment: Perform Risk Assessment at FO level & coordinate Control Plan design and upgrade; roll out the combined RCSA & CRI in APAC
o Develop and manage operational risk monitoring measures and reporting (e.g. KRI, Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Conduct Risk Identification (CRI))
In charge of maintaining the control plan & review the results of controls.
o Contribution to the rationalization, cleaning, efficiency of controls while reducing risks
o Conduct training and awareness sessions aiming to strengthen a risk mitigation culture.
3. SUPERVISION - VALIDATION PROCESS (TAC/NAC Coordination):
Validation process: Coordinate the internal validation of exceptional transactions, new activities, proprietary custom index or automated trading strategies; Provide advisory to FO and Functions on operational risk assessment throughout the validation process. Ensure adherence to the relevant policies & proper implementation of actions points. Ensure timely implementation of conditions. Conduct Post-Implementation Review
Ensure the quality and consistency of OPC comments;
Ensure the timely implementation of blocking and non-blocking conditions;
Provide advisory to FO and Functions on operational risk assessment throughout the validation process;
Supervise Adhoc business reviews and post-implementation follow-up.
4. GOVERNANCE:
Coordinate and contribute to the internal control Governance forums and provide advisory on operational risk governance
Participate actively and manage GM contribution to other Permanent Control Committees;
Contribute to the Regulatory Permanent Control (RPC) global governance forums and oversee the roll out of the regional RPC governance in APAC; Review the Regulatory governances, and drive changes especially in APAC when required based APAC regulatory control plan.
Contribute to specific FO processes governance (e.g. Custom Indices, SPV, etc)
Coordinate with LOD2&3 on permanent control related topics
Contributing Responsibilities
TEAM MANAGEMENT: Accountable for the service deliver by the team, provide solution to the team on BAU bottle necks, organize BAU and ensure delivery of BOW, ensure continuity of Business, communicate regularly to Onshore Manager/ Team on issues that are significative regardless of his type (HR/ Production, etc.), ensure team development in the LT & talent retention.

Role Overview
We seek a highly skilled and technically proficient Vice President of Operations to lead our engineering services client delivery function. This role demands a deep understanding of engineering services, operational excellence and a strong focus on efficiency, process improvement and automation. You will be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency in client deliveries, driving overall engineering efficiency and implementing best practices across the organization. This role includes overseeing training, execution, reporting, standards, tools and policies related to enterprise services deliveries spanning the Engineering Services spectrum.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Execution
Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with the company's long-term goals, leveraging advanced AI-driven forecasting models and scenario planning
Oversee and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring precise allocation of resources using AI-powered zero-based budgeting techniques
Execute operational strategies with a focus on scalability and sustainability, utilizing AI-enhanced KPIs and dashboards to track progress and outcomes
Resource Management, Utilization, Recruiting and Onboarding
Implement engineering services industry best practices in companywide client delivery efforts, elevate key metrics/KPIs to industry standard levels
Optimize resource allocation through AI-driven resource management tools and techniques, ensuring maximum utilization and productivity
Lead the recruitment process for engineering talent, employing AI-based data-driven hiring practices and competency-based assessments
Oversee comprehensive onboarding programs that integrate new hires efficiently, utilizing AI-powered LMS (Learning Management Systems) for continuous training and development
AI and Advanced Functionality Utilization, Process Improvement
Become one of Algoworks' key experts on driving AI efficiency programs
Develop and implement programs to leverage AI in any/all facets of client deliveries
Develop strategies to leverage the AI roadmaps of all company-used platforms in favor of improving quality and/or efficiency of client deliveries, including Jira, Git, Salesforce, PowerBI, etc.
Identify and implement process improvements using AI-enhanced methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality
Conduct AI-driven root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate process inefficiencies and risks
Leverage machine learning models to optimize operations and improve data accuracy
Sponsor initiatives to train staff at all levels and roles and generally keep Algoworks at the forefront of the AI curve
Team Leadership and Development
Provide leadership, mentoring and motivation to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Develop and implement advanced skills training programs, leveraging AI-powered e-learning platforms and hands-on workshops to enhance team capabilities
Quality Control and Assurance
Establish and maintain rigorous quality standards, best practices and regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
Implement AI-driven quality assurance processes, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Total Quality Management (TQM), to ensure high-quality deliverables
Cost Management
Develop and implement cost management strategies, utilizing AI-enhanced Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Earned Value Management (EVM) to maximize resource utilization and efficiency
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, employing AI-driven project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts
Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects, meeting client scope and deliverables through effective stakeholder management and AI-enhanced communication tools
Risk Management
Identify and mitigate operational risks using advanced AI-driven risk management frameworks
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, ideally leveraging AI, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, contingencies
Reporting and Analysis
Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and analytics using advanced AI-driven data visualization tools (Jira, PowerBI, etc.) to monitor and report on operational performance
Eliminate manual Excel-based reporting by leveraging cloud platform and PowerBI native reporting and analytics capabilities
Design and implement integrated reporting and analytics tools to create visually engaging and intuitive dashboards and reports, emphasizing clear communication of complex data through charts, graphs and other visual elements
Continuous Process Improvement, Automation
Develop and manage a consistent client delivery program, leveraging AI-driven automation tools to eliminate manual processes and drive efficiency
Implement AI-enhanced CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to streamline and automate operational workflows
Continuously evaluate, update and improve processes. Implement feedback loops to gather user input and drive system enhancements
Stay updated on engineering services latest industry best practices. Proactively identify/implement process improvements to enhance efficiency/effectiveness
Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and analyze data, identify trends and drive data-driven decision-making. Translate complex data and insights into rigorous, clear, actionable recommendations
Present complex data and operational insights graphically and concisely to stakeholders, utilizing advanced AI-driven data visualization techniques and storytelling methods
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Jira for project management and time tracking, including advanced AI-driven Jira workflows and automation
Expertise in PowerBI for reporting and data visualization, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query
Strong understanding of utilization and time tracking/analytics, employing AI-powered tools like Harvest, Toggl, or similar
