Job Purpose

Ensure stock items held meet the requirements and specifications to meet production demand.


Key Accountabilities

  • Check opening Stocks as per Reports on daily basis specially running items in SAP
  • Checked and verifying the vendors documents and Process documents for accounting purpose bills/Good Receipt PO of incoming material
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of all stock movements
  • Verify all the last day activity (In/Out) & rectify the error if any.
  • To ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from the Warehouse.

  • Understanding of technical specifications of equipment.

The Manager - Inventory Management manages inventory planning of expendable parts and routable parts to support the maintenance operation of United Airlines fleets. + Passionate about data analytics and visionary for how it can be applied and exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving
+ Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to details
+ Ability to study/understand business needs, then design solutions that connect business processes with quantifiable outcomes
+ Understanding of supply chain functions including sourcing/procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, warehousing and logistics
+ Familiarity with Line and Base maintenance planning and operations and Supply Chain models
+ Experience with automation and digital technology deployments
+ Ability to identify automation and supply chain optimization opportunities in existing processes to improve efficiency
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
+ Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
**What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):**
+ MS degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics and/or MBA
+ Programming experience in a scripting language such as SQL, Python, R, and/or Julia
+ Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
+ Project management experience
+ Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
+ Experience using statistical and mathematical methods
+ Experience in inventory management
+ Experience in a related field involving automation of complex business processes
+ Experience leading direct reports
+ Familiarity with ERP capabilities
+ At least two years of airline experience
+ At least two years of supply chain experience
+ Familiarity with Line and Base Maintenance Planning
+ Familiarity with MRO planning
+ Strong project management skills
+ Financial and budget/expense management
+ Ability to establish and monitor policies and guidelines
