**The Role**
Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You're in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You'll be there from the start of a project - understanding what's needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you'll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
+ Deep understanding of various infra components such as Compute, Storage & Network and arrive at best fit architecture for various infra platforms within the enterprise.
+ Strong delivery experience in assessing business needs, capacity management, infra resource sizing and technical framework.
+ Skills in migration of IT infrastructure platforms (On-premise / Cloud / Hybrid).
+ Skills in infra design of Data centers, connectivity, migration and Management.
+ Ability to write architecture / design documents and review design documents provided by Project teams
+ Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.
+ Knowledge of infrastructure elements and requirements related to infra virtualization, Software-defined Infrastructure, Private/Public cloud / container platforms.
+ Skills in Infrastructure implementation, integration, migration and infra management tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent).
• Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 7–10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
• Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
• Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
• Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• RHCE certified.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
