Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in the assigned department.
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, processing, and documentation.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to NABL quality guidelines.
- Assist in quality control, inventory management, and report preparation.
- Coordinate with pathologists, senior staff, and other departments for smooth operations.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: MLT / DMLT / B.Sc. (MLT) / M.Sc
- Experience:
- Lab Technician Minimum 13 years of experience
- Senior Lab Technician – Minimum 4–8 years of experience
- Prior experience in any of the mentioned departments preferred.

Role & responsibilities
- Lab Technician
The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing rapid molecular diagnostic tests, such as NAAT, on patient specimens and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. The key responsibilities include implementing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), supporting laboratory operations, managing data collection, and collaborating with the technical team
Scope of Work
Acquiring expertise in approved newer diagnostics tests related to TB including NAAT and rapid molecular diagnostic test for TB and performing rapid molecular diagnostic test and NAAT test on patient specimens in a timely manner.
Implementing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for TB laboratories, including SOPs for all laboratory tests, specifications for equipment, infection. control, etc, to ensure Good Laboratory Practices (GLP):
Providing support for all laboratory operations including regular MIS functioning. maintenance of all lab equipments, logistics of various lab consumables, specimen collection and transport elc
Managing clinical and laboratory aspects of the lab and ensuring collection, recording and reporting of clean, quality, data:
Provide monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress briefings and reports
on TB laboratory to the project team.
Liaising and facilitating the technical team on all technical matters relating to laboratory functioning,
Conducting day to day lab activities connected with the newer TB diagnostics,
ensuring quality control
Urgently reporting all adverse events in laboratory functioning to the project team.
Undertaking any other job assigned by the project team.
Specifications
Applicants with Diploma in Medical Lab Technology must possess a minimum of
three years work experience in TB Culture and DST or Rapid TB diagnostics.
Experience of working with National TB Program will be an advantage

Salary Budget: 38000/- to 42000/- Per month
