Job Description for the Position of Billing Executive/Cashier


Utilizing ERP to identify the outstanding accounts

Generating bills and invoices specific to customer

Generating Sales Order after getting detailed understanding customer’s requirements

Delivering invoices to clients via digital and traditional services

Reconciling all payment with invoices

Receiving and sorting incoming payments including Cash, DC/CC, Online Payments, UPI

Managing Petty Cash

Identifying any inconsistencies in any transactions or pricing in ERP

Regularly updating receivables specific to customer

Answering customers’ equations and address problems

Submission of all cash collected to the concerned authority at end of the day

Reconciliation of all payments received at end of day

Preparing and submitting Daily Sales Reports to Accounts team

Generating monthly and quarterly reports and present to Reporting Authority

There are also other duties as to the designation. The duties are not limited to the tasks above and expected to adhere to the customer satisfaction level being following the policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

B. Com

Understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP

Strong computational skills

An extreme attention to detail

Ability to be productive without oversight

Excellent interpersonal skills

Robust written and communication skill set

Basic understanding of office software and machinery

Key Skills and Competencies

1 year of experience as a Billing Executive at any large format store

Understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations

Passion for numbers and financial data
