Job Overview

Jensen Hughes has a newly created position for an experienced Fire & Life Safety Engineer / Consultant , placed in Mumbai, India . We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong analytical and creative thinking skills to manage hospitality projects workload in India, and report to Jensen Hughes Dubai Office This is a Client facing role and therefore a solid Technical understanding along with excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. In this role , you will demonstrate experience and passion in Code Consulting, Performance Based Design, and/or Fire Protection System Design. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and coordinate technical workload of hospitality projects implementing a variety of Fire & Life Safety consulting projects across India 
  • Willing to travel extensively (over 50%) mainly across India to support hospitality meetings, workshops, and inspections
  • Attend client project & design meetings managing project expectations completing assigned tasks on schedule and within budget as the sole representative of Jensen Hughes in India
  • Prepare and present Technical Reports and presentations
  • Lead and carry out Design reviews
  • Participate in various levels of Business Development, including meetings and presentations with Clients and developing proposals
  • Qualifications

  • Technical Degree in Fire Engineering 
  • Relevant experience in Code consulting, design of fire suppression & alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment is required
  • 5 years of experience in Fire engineering highly desirable
  • Chartered Engineer or PE highly desirable
  • Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing in English. Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies, speak in public, negotiate, explain fire protection concepts, and enforce standards while strengthening relationships, occasionally under pressure

    Inviting applications for the role of Wellbeing Coordinator, Trust & Safety

    To support the mental, emotional, and occupational wellbeing of content moderation teams by coordinating wellness programs, counselor sessions, reporting, and compliance activities in a high-stress, sensitive work environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular floor walks to gather feedback from Operations and identify wellbeing needs.
    • Coordinate Wellness Check-Ins, Counselor-led Group and 1:1 Coaching Sessions
    • Prepare and share counselor rosters ensuring required coverage.
    • Coordinate group workshop schedules and manage ad-hoc session requests.
    • Liaise with FLMs and Market SPOCs for session nominations and scheduling.
    • Prepare reports for Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) including session metrics, diversity usage, and psychological health indicators.
    • Maintain internal trackers and audit artifacts.
    • Draft and distribute: - Psychoeducational mailers - Monthly Calendars - Quarterly Wellness Newsletters
    • Conduct Wellbeing Orientation for new hires
    • Ensure adherence to audit and compliance requirements in collaboration with the global and risk teams.
    • Support onboarding/offboarding of counselors
    • Counselor supervision, rating and feedback.
    • Monitor shift adherence and timesheet accuracy.


    Qualifications we seek in you!

    Minimum Qualifications / Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • High emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and internal reporting tools.


    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    • Minimum 5 years experience in a wellbeing, or support role in a Trust & Safety or content moderation environment.
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, crisis response, or mental health support.

    • Evaluate and interpret assessment results to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, and provide

    actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices to enhance the

    effectiveness of risk assessments.

    • Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports summarizing the findings of risk assessments to clients

    and internal stakeholders.

    • Provide expert advice and consultancy to clients, guiding them in implementing robust cybersecurity

    risk management strategies.

    • Mentor and support junior team members to foster their professional growth and skills in cyber risk

    assessments.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related

    fields.

    • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in conducting cyber risk assessments and related

    security assessments.

    • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC:27001/22301/2000 LI/LA or

    equivalent are highly valued.

    • Profound knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.

    • Proficiency in using various security assessment and techniques.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating technical

    concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Demonstrated experience in project management and handling multiple assessments simultaneously.

    • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a commitment to continuous learning and

    professional development.

    • Network Security, infrastructure assessment and network architecture design review.

    • Conceptual knowledge of OT Security/ISA 62443 standard is preferable.
