Basic Qualifications
What We're Looking For:

  • 3-6 years of experience in desktop application development with a deep understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
  • Hands-on development experience using relevant programming languages and frameworks, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and service-oriented architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cloud applications and exposure to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes is a plus.
  • Ability to resolve performance-related issues through various techniques, including testing, debugging, and profiling.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Possess a true "roll up the sleeves and get it done" working approach; demonstrated success as a problem solver, operating as a client-focused self-starter.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Applicants should not have been enrolled in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs.

About the job

The Google Software Application Development Apprenticeship is a learning and development program for 12 months, Apprentices are expected to join in person at their assigned in-office and participate full-time (~40 hours, weekly) throughout the program. The program includes work experience with a Google team supported by external training to empower those looking to start a career in Software Application Development.You will spend 20% of your time studying in a tailored training program and the rest of the time on projects with assigned Google teams to gain direct experience.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Perform application design and development for a key business PLM application(s).- Perform DevOps release management and incident managemt following ITIL framework.

  • Develops applications, components, and services using C#.NET, ASP.NET to meet the business needs.
  • Works with project managers and architects on application design and development.
  • Evaluates business requirements and processes to provide accurate estimates for development efforts.
  • Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents. Performs coding to written technical specifications and standards.
