+ Will have proven previous experience of undertaking: geotechnical desk studies; critical checking of Ground Investigation Factual Reports; preparing Ground Investigation Reports in accordance with the requirements of Eurocode 7 : Part 1.
+ Will have contributed to the production of some Geotechnical Design Reports.
+ Demonstrable experience of geotechnical design together with a familiarity of design submission documentation. This includes a demonstrable understanding of the underlying principles and a knowledge of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes, ground investigation and construction contracts and specifications.

Tax reporting & Advance tax compliances:

This role has the responsibility for preparation of timely and accurate advance tax computations and tax provisions. This requires close co-ordination with business & Finance Business Partners in fact-finding, collating accounting information, technical research incl. search of past judicial precedents/ commentaries, etc. The role provides support in compilation of all this information for an informed tax treatment by Direct Tax Lead for the Group.
Withholding - TDS & TCS compliances:
+ As we have seen past few years, the Indian government has been introducing new WHT (TDS / TCS) provisions every year to increase the tax net under Direct tax
+ The landing of new tax law for all UL India entities is a key activity as it involves steps like - evaluating a new tax law, interacting with Business teams to undertake the impact assessment, IT development, landing the change across UL India entities and across business segments, communication to the Business/ Business Partners being impacted by the change
+ This role plays a pivotal to support the implementation of new tax law - co-ordinating with the Business teams, preparing position notes, draft communications (internal and external), etc.
+ The role has a responsibility of ensuring and governing timely TDS & TCS compliances with support of shared service team and external service providers.
Supporting departmental audits:
+ HUL is a listed entity is India & is committed to robust tax submissions during the course of tax assessments.
+ The departmental audits are now under faceless tax regime and hence, the written submissions play a critical role in representation before the revenue authorities.
+ The submissions form the base for future outcome as well as set the foundation for future appeals/ litigation, in case the department disagrees to HUL's tax treatment
+ Therefore, the role is of critical importance to ensure compilation and preparation of information for onward submission to the revenue authorities. This requires extensive co-ordination with various stakeholders like Finance, service providers, shared service team, etc. to ensure we have right set of information for representation.
Supporting Litigation Management:

I. Position SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to lead the pack across the physical and digital world. This includes the management of the adaptive design process using agencies from the adaptive design roster. Working with the print management agency, leading the creation and approval of packaging artwork, including separations, which are handed over to the printer in a timely manner. With the partners, lead the creation of CGI pack images and orchestration of product content for the omnichannel environment using Unilever's product management workflow system.
This person will be responsible for initiating and managing projects using the artwork management system and is responsible for overseeing the production, storage and availability of artwork and pack images for usage through the digital channels. The Artwork production specialist will interact with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, E-commerce) who provide master design files and pack content, and external partners (print management agencies, design agencies, printers) who deliver the work in the form of mechanical artwork, pack image albums and printed packaging. The role will orchestrate data, making it available for usage downstream in the E-commerce environment and other channels.
As technical experts, the Artwork Production Specialist will provide expertise in the end-to-end management of the pack to marketing and E-commerce teams by taking responsibility for the creation of artwork and digital pack images to be used in various channels and touchpoints internally and externally in an ever-more digital and connected world.This role is based in India and will manage work for the ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) market. All collaboration and communication will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams, requiring strong virtual collaboration skills and flexibility to work across time zones.
II. Position Responsibilities (Expected Work)
+ Lead the pack for the end-to-end process from adaptive design/artwork/separation/digital images.
+ Understand the Category and Brands you are working on, Brand DNA & guidelines, and plans
+ Work with adaptive design agencies from the agency roster, ensuring that the marketing brief to these agencies is clear. Previews from the adaptive agency to ensure that this meets the expectations of marketing.
+ Collaborate with marketing and design agencies at the design phase, providing expert guidance and technical inputs to ensure that the design is technically printable before the artwork phase.
+ Lead the adaptive design process, including SKU matrix development, technical printability assessment, and toolbox creation by the strategic agency.
+ Understand the artwork process, roles and responsibilities, and how to fit this into the innovation project management process to deliver projects on time and in full. Work on the artwork management system to deliver this.
+ Provide forecasts for artwork and pack image priorities to the PMA using the tools provided.
+ Ensure that the print management agency follows the approved rate cards and service level agreements, and that marketing has visibility on costs
+ Lead the actions with the PMA that the artwork is optimized for cost, e.g., print process, number of colours, and Design for value.
+ Understand the digital and connected word program in Unilever, and the Artwork Excellence role to manage the delivery of digital pack images following the Artwork Excellence process, to the right quality and on time
+ Understanding of CGI technology and the creation of FOP, BOP, and Hero images, and how this is used in a connected and omnichannel world.
