Key Responsibilities:

  • Review various types of contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, distribution, service agreements, etc.)
  • Identify legal and business risks in contract clauses
  • Make suggested edits to align with internal standards and legal best practices
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and legal counsel
  • Assist with basic legal research as needed


Requirements:

  • Recently graduated law graduates. Preference to those who have specialised in corporate laws

Compliance & Risk Management:

•Keep abreast of evolving laws and regulatory

Corporate
Governance & Advisory:

Team
Leadership & Training:

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a well experienced, seasoned, proactive and detail-oriented Legal Expert with around 12 to 15 years of experience in the Legal and Compliance department within financial services or NBFC sector.

    The candidate will be responsible for providing legal and compliance advise and support across business functions, ensuring legal compliances.

    This role will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters including contracts, litigation, regulatory interactions, corporate governance, and strategic legal advisory to support the Company’s growth and mitigate legal risks.

    The selected candidate will head a team of lawyers and will also work with Company Secretary for legal and regulatory compliances.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Legal Advisory & Documentation:

    • Provide strategic legal advice to the Board and senior management on all legal matters.
    • Evaluate and mitigate legal risks associated with business decisions, structured transactions, securitization deals and partnership deals.
    • Advise on complex legal and regulatory issues related to lending, financing, and investment.
    • Supporting business teams in structuring trade transaction, domestic and export factoring structures.
