Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Professional Services Engineer at Data Dynamics located in Pune, India. While the role is based in Pune, some work from home flexibility is available.
- You will be onboarded to our customers' environments, working to assist with onboarding Data Dynamics software products into the customers' environments, initial configuration of the software product, maintaining the software and its ecosystem, integration of the software with customers' applications and data repositories, developing custom reporting and ongoing usage of the software in order to achieve the customers' goals and objectives.
- As you will have deep knowledge of the customer's environment and use cases, you will also often be the first point of contact for customers with technical support issues and questions on advanced file storage, object storage, OneDrive and various unstructured data environments and will work closely with Support, Customer Success and Training teams to best support the customer.
- The role involves managing network security, cybersecurity, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technical aspects of the software. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction with Data Dynamics' products and services.
- In this role, you will be directly responsible for providing remote and sometimes in person technical support for all Data Dynamics products installed in enterprises with a wide variety of enterprise servers, storage devices, operating systems, and applications.

- Support Sales team in managing RFP/POCs responses and assisting with development of prospect-facing materials
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- 3+ years of demonstrated ability in implementing and running technical/process projects
- Can demonstrate with data analytics current status on projects, areas of concern, project risks, and recommendations
- Have 5+ years’ experience managing a highly productive teams of Architects, Implementation Engineers and Project Managers
- Past experience as an Architect, Technical PM or IE in IAM Space. 5+ years’ experience in one or more of those roles involving IAM projects.
- Full understanding of the nuances of delivery from all angles. Ideally have background in IAM Vendor/IAM Services.
- Ability to speak and connect with both technical and business personnel, at all levels
- Created project plans, managed risks and delivery of mid (10,000 user-base) to large (100K+ user-base) IAM deployments
- Experienced with IAM processes, mapping customer pain-points to vendor solutions
- Identify, evaluate and lead teams through prioritization of activities
- Demonstrated success with process driven programs – scrums, metrics, checklists, repeatable methodologies, project post-mortems, etc
- Customer focused with Customer Success top of mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver artifacts such as Requirements, Architecture, Design, Testing, etc.
- Start-up mentality with wearing multiple hats and doing what it takes to drive Customer Success
Desired:
- Preferably has managed IAM cloud deployment projects in past
- Preferably has implemented Cloud (AWS/Azure or other) deployments

Scope of roleThe Professional Services Consultant will report to the Global Head of Professional Services. As part of the global team, you will manage client-facing projects. When not working on client projects, you will improve the services offered by Professional Services to meet the department and the wider organisation’s goals.
As a Professional Services Consultant, you will:
- Perform Business Analysis and workshop facilitation techniques to obtain client requirements and influence their behaviour.
- Design Solutions by identifying functional and user experience-based deliverables, and delivery methodology, based on agreed requirements.
- Perform Project and Client Management to delivery project outcomes.
- Hands-on implementation of ITRS Software according to Project goals.
- Deliver client empowerment through the successful handover of all required collateral and knowledge to ensure clients use and grow our solutions post project closure.
- Deliver Classroom-based product training to our clients.
- Create improvements to uphold and build the effectiveness of services, software and solutions delivered by Professional Services and ITRS as a whole.
Requirements
- ITRS Geneos Expertise: Minimum 12 months of hands-on experience.
- Client-Facing Experience: At least 3 years in a client-facing role.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, user-friendly manner.
- Project & Time Management: Minimum 3 years in a project-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
- Technical Background: At least 3 years in a technical IT role.
- Operating Systems: Experience with one or more UNIX-based OS.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Shell, Lua, Perl, Python, XML-RPC.).
- Database & SQL Knowledge: Understanding of databases and SQL.
- Fast Learner: Interest in new technologies and software.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve processes and solutions.
- Business & Project Management Interest: Willingness to participate in business analysis and project management.
- Client Engagement & Issue Resolution: Interest in managing client expectations and resolving issues.
