+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or equivalent
+ Core quality methods like FMEA, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why and 8D methodology and VSM are well experienced
+ Certification QMIP is preferred.
+ The standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001 are known
+ At least 15 years of experience, thereof 5 years with a profound knowledge in Turnkey project business for Medium Voltage sub-stations
+ Experience in Project Management processes

**Purpose of the Role**

**Main Responsibilities:**
**Leadership and Strategic Direction:**
+ Lead and develop vertical sales teams, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
+ Coach and mentor Key Account Managers, ensuring compliance with Siemens KAM governance model.
+ Be the architect of growth strategies across the organization and its businesses and functions.

**Sales Strategy and Business Development:**
+ Own strategy and formulate overall Vertical Sales strategy for the defined Verticals and Vertical Sales Accounts.
+ Drive the Vertical budget planning activities based on market development, strategic priorities, investments, account performance and business opportunities.
+ Conceptualize the business development that supports customers' journey in their digital transformations.
+ Build and nurture C-level relationships with industry stakeholders, especially driving Vertical Accounts and customer development programs to increase share of wallet.
**Customer and Market Engagement:**
+ Drive collaboration across Solution Architecture, Business Unit Portfolio and Marketing to bring compelling value propositions to the market.
+ Drive integrated marketing and communication capability for demand generation.
+ Champion corporate initiatives like Siemens Xcelerator (SX) and Sustainability.
+ Collaborate with Sales Acceleration teams to explore the complete potential of Product, System, Solution, Service and Digital Enterprise offerings for DI Automation & Software.
+ Partner with the Marketing team to develop and implement impactful marketing programs. Orchestrate specialized sales enablement support to build tailored customer messaging and value propositions that resonate with our target customer segment.
+ Supporting generation of references and success stories/lessons learned along with account managers.
**Business and Financial Management:**
+ Lead strategic business planning, budgeting, and financial outcomes of DI business, across all Verticals.
+ Drive business performance reporting and market analysis.
+ Set and achieve Order Intake (OI) targets across regions, business units, and key accounts.
+ In this role you will support, advise, and promote the utilization of related CRM tools (e.g., SieSales, Quip, TactiX).

+ Bachelors or Masters in technical discipline and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from reputed institutions with 20+ years of experience in leading and growing businesses, working for leading technology/digital/consulting companies.

+ Broad understanding of concepts, practices and procedures for all the defined Verticals.
+ Experience in leading a regional Vertical business segment, regional field organization or Industry Business Units
