Overview :

The Operations Analytics & MIS team plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across both front and back-office functions. The team leverages data and various tools/ techniques to deliver key analytical solution for USPB ops functions like Customer service, Core Ops, Credit and Collections. The goal of the Operations Analytics team is to drive data-driven decision-making for continuous operational improvement, resulting in increased efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced customer experience.

Job Summary:

The AVP (IC SME), Analytics will be part of Operations Analytics within Citi AIM vertical, a global community driving data-driven transformation across Citi. AIM's objective is to generate actionable intelligence for business leaders. This role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced customer experience. The IC SME will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions that provide actionable insights to operations teams, enabling them to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and proactively address potential challenges. This includes deep-dive analysis of operational data, development of predictive models, and creation of impactful analytical recommendation and compelling story for Operation business.

In this role, you are expected to:

Data Exploration . Understand existing data & reporting by dwelling into multiple platforms scattered across the organization. You do what it takes to gather information by connecting with people across business teams and technology.

Data Analysis & Interpretation : Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data. A hands-on approach is essential, demanding proficiency in a range of tools and technologies to extract, transform, and analyze data effectively.

Business Knowledge : Develop business context and knowledge. Proactively seek out best practices and adopt the same in day-to-day functioning. Navigate team to use right data, apply right analytical tools and techniques to yield best in class solution for business

Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Will provide technical leadership and guidance in the application of analytical techniques to complex operational problems. Champion the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge analytical solutions that furnish actionable insights to operations teams. Mentor and guide team members on best practices in data analysis, solutioning.

Stakeholder Management : Will collaborate closely with operations stakeholders to understand their specific needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders timely manner. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Project Management : Drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, Process documentation, Governance through JIRA tool.

Speed & Innovate: Demonstrate hyper speed in performance and Innovation at work to deal with complex business problem

Governance & Compliance: Safeguarding the integrity and quality of data underpinning analytical initiatives, promoting a data-driven culture across the operations landscape. Establish and maintain appropriate governance processes to ensure compliance with requirements and internal standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 8+ years with Master’s as Education background, 10+ years with Bachelors as Education background experience in the relevant domain.

Knowledge of database management systems (, DWH, EAP, SQL Server, Oracle).

Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools (, SQL, SAS, Python and Pyspark programming).

Proficient in Formulating Analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to drive business outcomes.

Data Science AI/ML Use case and applications experience

Good understanding of the banking domain, banking products, and operations in banking.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

**Job Summary:**
The **Business Intelligence/Analytics** is responsible for Design, Development and Testing of Operations Analytics. Demonstrates ability to interpret and refine customer requirements and effectively fulfills information needs using available business intelligence and analytical tools and techniques or through development of ad hoc queries and or macros.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Delivering BI/ analytics small solutions in a pro-active and timely manner based on assigned priorities and uncompromising quality with effective testing practices applied.
+ Manage and take end-to-end ownership the Cigna's SLA driven client performance reporting. There are 100+ clients with 80+ unique metrics which needs to be delivered to brokers, client management and advocacy team on a pre-agreed timeline every quarter. The entire process is SLA driven and needs extensive collaboration between data & analytics, operations, client management & finance
+ Communicate progress on assigned initiatives to management and customers of the initiatives.
+ Create and establish and modify current processes working with different company stakeholders.
+ Visualization needed to be able to provide actionable insights.
+ Able to balance tactical day-to-day delivery of MIS with new MIS/BI builds.
+ Able to understand code & process for technologies like Qlik, oracle or SQL that will be useful in overall support of SLA performance reporting & monitoring.
+ Review of SLA client contracts placed a central repository as needed & approve and maintain change requests for seamless delivery of performance reporting in timely manner.

What you will do

• Define, map, and drive business processes that efficiently drive desired business outcomes.

• Monitor business process health and KPIs.

• Maintain strong capabilities in business analysis through clear focus, improved processes, knowledge build and use of analytical tools.

• As appropriate, create periodic & adhoc reports to support business requirements.

• Provide analytical support, insights, conclusions, and recommendations to Management based on analysis of key financial and operating KPIs

• Coordinate governance processes including but not limited to monthly and quarterly stewardship and management updates (global and regional levels) as applicable.

• May include benchmarking and overall competitive performance analysis across Supply Chain operating locations.

• May include commercial performance analysis and recommendations to Management and/or Procurement on opportunities to optimize value and remove leakage.

• Drive best practice implementation and sustainment.

• Define, prioritize, and lead system and tool enhancements.

• Ensure design/set-up of new/enhanced SC systems & tools is consistent with supply chain processes.

• Develop and sustain supply chain competency for supported processes/tools by building and delivering training and facilitating user CoPs/network as appropriate.

• Act as data custodian for selected data objects.

About You

 Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in engineering, supply chain, statistics and/or analytics.  Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas)

• 3 years or more of experience post-secondary school graduation

• Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations

• Experience do you have supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations within the Oil & Gas industry

• Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data-driven recommendations for S&OP processes

• Proficiency  with extracting information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and utilize MS Excel to generate data insights

• Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global, virtual team

• Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
