The Business Management team empowers our leaders to manage our client businesses, supporting them with business systems and processes enabled by the latest technology and data-driven insights for better decision making. We are primarily responsible for design, development and governance of the business data, delivery performance, resource management and project management of pivotal initiatives to realize corporate strategy and goals. The teams measure, manage, and connect business KPIs across verticals to build a single view of impact areas within the organization. They augment our leaders with insights, strategic vision, and actionable plans to function optimally. Equipped with data and technology, the team is keen on bringing novel business solutions to life.
The Strategic Programs Office is part of the global Business Management team. The Strategic Programs Office works closely with Executive Leadership Team to conceptualize, architect, and drive a host of cross-functional strategic programs aimed at delivering performance & productivity improvement, process standardization and building sustained capability across the organization. This team serves as an incubator for new initiatives across the company as well as to build high performing teams. The range of work includes, but not limited to:
- Strategic initiatives across different BUs
- Operational excellence initiatives with cross functional engineering and business teams
- Financial modeling & scenario analysis, pricing model development, business due diligence
- Drive setting up strategic alliances & partnerships with companies to aid market growth
- Architect, coordinate & drive delivery of other cross-functional programs

Responsibilities
- Support Leadership teams in identifying opportunities & conceptualizing program objectives.
- Define program scope and structure program execution plan.
- Define baseline metrics/goals to quantify program outcomes.
- Gather and document requirements for the program.
- Own program(s) assigned and drive them to closure within defined timelines and budget.
- Work closely with program team members and provide operational support to program team members to drive program outcomes.
- Work with various business stakeholders to drive program support & coordination.
- Identify, manage, resolve and/or escalate issues/risks at the program level.
- Report progress on program status to the program sponsor and stakeholders
- Support organization development activities such as hiring, training, planning, etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for people with a clear focus on driving strategic initiatives across the company. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. MBA would be a plus
- 9-12 years of overall experience with exposure to business analysis or program management
- Ability to think top-down yet stay connected to details.
- Structured problem-solving skills with a practical sense of what works in the given context.
- Bias for action, with an unwavering focus on measurable outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively and operate at all levels with global, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence without authority and deliver results in a time-bound manner.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate across all organizational levels
- Ability to quickly develop and maintain relationships within the organization and/or with external partners.
- Proficiency using following Microsoft/equivalent tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Work experience in operational/business excellence, pre-sales or operations consulting roles, and delivered projects on more than one of these areas: Operational excellence, Market research & strategy, Business due diligence, Incubation of high performing business teams, Sales and business process setup/improvement, Pricing models & scenario modelling, Other strategic/cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities
Utilize PM profession skills to enhance the level of service and quality of deliverables.
Exhibit project leadership in a shared services resource environment
Ability to collect technical inputs from subject matter experts and create solutions to drive aggressive timelines
Communicate complex issues to stakeholders with recommendations on the path forward.
Allocate resources appropriately to meet program needs and minimize resource contention
Coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones and the resources that are assigned
Facilitate/manage solution Maturing phase of the project by working with design/solution team
Develop detailed implementation plans using MS Project or Account specific tool
Conduct Project Definition Workshops with all the stakeholders and produce the written report - Project Definition Report
Work with various delivery team to ensure that all relevant teams within Kyndryl and alliance teams/sub-contractors are engaged during implementation
Close collaboration with the different Cloud teams ("Operations", "Architecture", etc.) and the business IT project teams
Should be well versed with project management domains: Initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing
Lead a project team in delivering a solution to the customer and should have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverable, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management
Manage all project resources and establish an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer and provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer
Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
Minimum 10+years of overall experience in IT industry with 5+ years of proven delivery managing increasingly complex projects
Strong Cloud infrastructure background with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM Cloud) migration experience
Leadership competencies for team building, client relations, Negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management
Proficient in Agile methodology with an ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements
Proven project management skill and an ability to navigate fast paced and rapidly evolving environments, # Knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; Initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Knowledge of current Project Management methodologies
Strong working knowledge of project-planning tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point
Knowledge of Data Center infrastructure management
Knowledge of Cloud services delivery strategies and experience with implementations of all types of Cloud Deployment models Public, Private and Hybrid
Experience in leading project teams across different countries and cultures.
Proven ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
