We are looking for a Product Manager to own and scale our Reconciliation product that ensures accurate, seamless, and compliant money movement across our ecosystem.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Product Manager for Reconciliation, you will be responsible for:
• End-to-End Money Movement: Drive product ownership for the entire transaction lifecycle, covering Receivables, Payouts, Payment Gateway (PG) costs, settlements, chargebacks, and merchant reconciliations.
• Reconciliation Systems: Build and improve systems that reconcile transactions
across banks, payment gateways, merchants, and internal ledgers with high accuracy and reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance,
Compliance, Risk, and Partner Banks/PGs to ensure smooth reconciliation and
settlement processes.
• Problem Solving: Identify gaps in transaction flow, settlement delays, mismatches, or exceptions and design solutions to prevent revenue leakage and ensure compliance.
• Product Roadmap: Define product vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for
reconciliation and settlement tools, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use data insights to optimize reconciliation efficiency,
reduce operational overhead, and enhance transaction reliability.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure products adhere to regulatory and
compliance requirements related to payments, settlements, and chargebacks.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in product management within Payments, Banking, FinTech, or related reconciliation/settlement systems.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment flows, money movement, chargebacks, merchant settlements, and banking/PG processes.
• Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with data (SQL, dashboards, reports) and collaborating with engineering teams to define scalable solutions.

Job responsibilities
- Define intermediate to advanced data profiling, metadata documentation, data lineage, and data transformation rules in support of key program deliverables.
- Lead/assist in creating, implementing and enforcing a taxonomy and meta data inventory that satisfies Wealth Management needs across LOBs/geographies and aligns to taxonomy management best practices and metadata and vocabulary standards.
- Meet data management needs of internal and external clients according to established data model standards and best practices, including problem research/resolution and customer education.
- Performs data impact analyses in partnership with project teams. Supports the building of strategic model solutions including transformation rules and attribute relationships.
- Participate in defining, loading, and maintaining Taxonomy Content titles, Meta Data and Attributes, including being involved in user acceptance testing and production validation testing of Taxonomy enhancements and cross impacts.
- Identify new opportunities to optimize content delivery; partner with product and tech teams to support content digitization and client self-service.
- Understand business vision and customer needs and identify solutions to fulfill them through the taxonomy; ensuring taxonomy and meta data attributes are client/user focused.
- Partner with content creators and users across the organization, leveraging existing definitions and best practices, where applicable, including AWM and Firm-wide Chief Data Office teams.
- Lead the taxonomy governance cross-functional working team, manage the new request queue, and provide oversight for the day-to-day implementation, maintenance, and governance of the taxonomy.
- Analyze large amount of information to discover trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure awareness and promote adoption.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in knowledge management designing and implementing taxonomies/ontologies or related experience .
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing medium to large size projects.
- Thorough knowledge of tools and software to extract and analyze data in the data management function (e.g., moderate knowledge of database software applications, financial modeling tools, and/or data modeling tools).
- Working knowledge of database, design patterns and related strategy.
- Working knowledge of machine learning techniques such as content clustering, content classification, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal interactions and communication, including the ability to present complex technical and metadata information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, from junior to senior levels across the organization.
