In this role you are expected to be a team leader that demonstrates ownership of responsibilities, self-reliance, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to assist team members to perform efficient and accurate post audits of closed and written off deductions, identifying opportunities for recovery of invalid deductions, which will contribute to the organization’s revenue growth. You will work closely with your supervisor and team to perform root cause analysis and share documented findings.
Responsibilities
Identify and convert new recovery opportunities through historical customer behaviors on invalid deductions following SOPs, deduction reason coding, and trends.
Leverage defined methods and approaches to cleanse and investigate data as appropriate to deliver analytical recommendations aligned with the business need.
Identify a consistent pipeline of opportunities to meet client goals.
Identify and drive process improvements by sharing Leakage Prevention insights with your supervisor to implement changes that reduce deductions.
Continually develop and train your team to establish a bench of knowledgeable resources.
Engage supervisor and client as required to resolve complex issues.
Special projects as needed, providing support, and collaborating with the senior management team.
Pricing & Promotions:
Knowledgeable on the Price Change and Trade Promotions process to assist the team with validating deductions within timeline. Work with the team to be able to identify leakages at each stage in value chain and work with stakeholders to correct.
Supply Chain:
Knowledgeable on Order Management, Logistics, and other non-trade deductions process to assist the team with validating deductions within timeline. Work with the team to be able to identify invalid deductions by reviewing discrepancies with Bill of Lading (BOL) and Proof of Delivery (POD) from multiple customers warehouses and carriers.
Minimum Qualifications
B Tech or Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field.
Relevant years of experience in Order to Cash and AR domain.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills with ability to express ideas and recommendations clearly and succinctly.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be both collaborative and inclusive within a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize items with specific time constraints.

Roles and responsibilities
Independently develop Analytics solutions / predictive model for pricing and promotions e.g. promotions forecasting, price elasticity models, customer segmentation, discount optimization.
Perform statistical analysis for hypothesis testing e.g. A/B testing to predict the impact of pricing changes on test skus/regions.
Collaborate with the pricing strategy and insights team to conceptualize and develop the prototype of analytics solutions and partner with Enterprise Data Engineering / Data science teams to scale up and deploy the solutions for enabling optimized pricing decisions
Involve in discussions with stakeholders and gather requirements showcasing the analysis, interpretations & findings and scale the solutions to next level

Requirements:
4 to 8 years of relevant experience as Sr. data scientist or pricing scientist in retail/ecom analyticsin similar industry and business function.
Masters/PhD in management science, data science, economics, mathematics from reputed institutes is a must.
Should have strong fundamental understanding of price elasticity, price-demand curves, econometrics and optimizations techniques.
Strong applied knowledge of machine learning covering the landscape of classification, regression and with in-depth interpretation of outcomes for pricing and promotions

Role Overview
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for driving deal pricing across multiple engagement models, ensuring competitive positioning while protecting profitability. The role demands strong financial modeling, close collaboration with Sales & Delivery, and deep understanding of IT services deal structures .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deal pricing for pursuits across T&M, Fixed Price, and Managed Services contracts.
- Partner with Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery teams to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with Microland’s profitability objectives.
- Develop, review, and maintain pricing models & cost sheets ; ensure compliance with internal approval processes.
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
- Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
- Support preparation and review of business unit P&L statements , budgets, and forecasts.
- Deliver monthly profitability reports , highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends to strengthen pricing strategy.
- Contribute to corporate finance initiatives , automation of pricing models, and governance processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis .
- Solid understanding of IT services business models (Managed Services, Outsourcing, Application, Infrastructure).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools .
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Business acumen to balance competitive pricing with long-term profitability .
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution (mandatory).
- 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations (mandatory) .
- Experience supporting global/multi-geo deals is an added advantage.
