**Job Description Summary**
The Production Manager will be responsible for Shared Services department in the factory. The candidate will work extensively with internal team as well as external team/customer not only to ensure that the department can attain good standard from safety, quality, delivery, and people, but also to chart the path for growing the department. You will leverage extensive experience and expertise to identify and resolve complex challenges, develop and implement strategic objectives, spearhead continuous improvements, and collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve objectives.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ As Production Manager, you will drive achievement for Fulfilment metrics performance for the Shared Services department, which includes Coating Cells, Vacuum Furnace, Acid Stripping, and Blasting,
+ Manage a team of supervisors and technicians for Shared Services
+ Implement strategies to achieve EHS, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Resource Utilization, People Development and Compliance
+ Drive and implement growth strategies for the area,
+ Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization,
+ Ensure communication of key business/customer issues to leadership, staff and employees,
+ Select, hire, train, develop and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel,
+ Lead cross-functional teams in executing the master production schedule in a way that meets customer needs, business goals, and maximizes supply chain velocity,
+ Work closely with the Cell Leaders to provide periodic fulfilment estimates to the business,
+ Work collaboratively with material planner and warehouse team to ensure the availability of necessary materials to meet the schedule,
+ Drive intra or interdepartmental improvements in production planning and execution of the factory which adheres to lean manufacturing and supply chain principles to improve the status quo,
+ Drive a culture of rigor and daily problem-solving around planning, scheduling processes, and execution across the supply chain network to achieve the target for parts On-Time Delivery,
+ Responsible for EHS, Quality Framework leadership,
+ Lead and drive lean execution and excellence,
+ Lead Lean action workouts and drive completion for actions,
+ Support WIP Inventory reduction and drive wing-to-wing lead time reduction,
**Required Qualifications**
+ A Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree is a plus) in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical and other relevant disciplines) from a local or internationally reputable university,
+ A minimum of 6 years' experience in manufacturing, lean, operation or equivalent management role
+ Experience in Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous (but not essential),
+ At least intermediate level of active English (daily contact with foreign colleagues) is required,
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
+ Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus,
+ Experience in AutoCAD or other design software would be advantageous (but not essential), and
+ Willing to stay in Bandung.

Purpose of the Job

About The Job (Job Responsibilities)

  • Performance Management in Process owner production: plans, reviews and actions
  • Process owner of OAM, AUM, PEM and ORM process in production
  • Adherence to budget and to production schedule (AUM) and BOM (PEM)
  • Availability and use of MAC’s; driving reduction of gap between MAC and actuals
  • Performance improvement in scheduling through PSA, ETP/SRU and OMS by planning, review and action.
  • Execute primary work processes (OAM, AUM, PEM and ORM) and the foundations. (performance mgt, 5S, SWS) in production, review by Process Confirmation.
  • Inspire and guide others toward identifying and achieving vision and goals and provide purpose and direction.
  • Provide work procedures & instructions (SWS) that ensure safe and efficient execution of all tasks, including PtW, and LoToTo procedures.
  • Support and execute process confirmation on all Foundation and Primary Processes.
  • Develop long term and short-term TIP (Tactical Improvement Plan) for production department and integrate into the year Site TIP, including department development & recruitment, productivity, quality, efficiency and HSE improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all site procedures, work instructions and other regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to production budget and realize yearly improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to production planning, BOM and realize yearly improvement.
  • Organize and continuously improve Foundations and ALPS Primary Processes.


We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

  • Chemical Engineering associate/Degree in chemical Engineering, Technology or similar discipline.
  • Relevant content experience in chemical plants.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Experience in continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous Improvement methodologies and tools.
